About ariadna…

Mi ta mira tur mucha komo kreashonnan úniko di Dios ku meresé stimashon i kuido pa asina nan por alkansá nan propósito di bida. Konektá kumi i haña sa mas.

I see all children as unique creations of God that deserve to be loved and nurtured so they can reach their life’s purpose. My curiosity for neuroscience led me to primitive reflex integration. I have 25+ years of experience in regular education and special needs education with certification as both Remedial Teacher and Reflex Integration Therapist. I do not only teach learning strategies but far more than that I start from the brain stem and work the way up to higher cognitive skills using reflex integration exercises. Let’s connect and know more.

Lástimamente algun di nos ta eksperensiá algun reto den desroyo di kresementu i di komportashon. Pa menshoná algun: hipersensatividat, ADHD, ADD, Outismo, Dislèksia, Dispraksia, Diskalkulia, trastorno di drumimentu, depreshon, ansiedat, trasorno di lenguahe.

i believe in : “a happy brain, a happy you”

Everybody would like to function in life to his/her full potential. Unfortunately some of us experience some challenges like behavioral or developmental issues. To mention a few: hypersensitivity, ADHD, ADD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, language disorders.

In school, the academic results might suffer under the conditions mentioned above. As parents and teachers we try with the best intentions to improve these skills within our students by giving more cognitive exercises that often cause more frustration and have no sustainable results. But how about the brain? What if we address the pathways in the brain instead for more efficient and effective connections? This is where my services kick in.

Loke mi ta hasi ta…

Mi ta integrá reflehonan primitivo siguí pa coaching akadémiko pa e desabilitanan den siñamentu.

this is what I do…..

I integrate retained primitive reflexes followed by academical coaching of learning disabilities.

Kiko ta integrashon di reflehonan primitivo i pakiko esaki ta asina importante?

Reflehonan primitivo ta moveshonnan outomátiko ku ta desaroyá durante e bida di e feto ide spues den bida di e beibi pa yuda e resien nasí pa sobrebibí i krese. E reflehonan aki ta suponé di integrá (=bai / disparse) mas o menos despues di 11 luna di nasementu. Na momentu ku e reflehonan aki no integrá manera mester ta, nan por interferí ku kontròl motóriko, balansa, kordinashon korporal, prosesamentu sensorial i desaroyo kognitivo.

what is primitive reflex integration and why is it so important?

Primitive reflexes are automatic movements that develop during fetal life and infancy to help the newborn survive and develop. These reflexes should typically integrate (= go away) as the child grows. When these reflexes do not integrate properly, they can interfere with motor control, balance, coordination, sensory processing and cognitive development. Reflex integration is a science based approach that involves techniques and exercises that help the nervous system inhibit these reflexes leading to improvement in motor skills, learning, behavior and overall functioning due to more effective connections in the brain.
